New GSBA Board Members: Ryan Digges & Calvin Goings



Ryan Digges is a Seniorr Account Manager of Strategic Partnerships (Business Development) at WhitePages.com, the leading provider of contact information in North America, with a top 40 web property, top 10 ranking mobile apps and over 50 million monthly users.  He has a diverse background in marketing and advertising spanning radio, television and the interwebs!  He received his BA in Communication from the University of Washington.

Ryan is a 2003 GSBA Scholar.  He reconnected with the GSBA in 2011 and continues to find new ways to stay engaged. He actively participates in the scholarship interviewing process.  He was also presenter at the 2012 Scholarship Awards Dinner and speaker at the 2012 TASTE of GSBA. He sits on the Scholarship Steering Committee and currently chairs the Alumni Outreach Committee.

He is proud to have been asked to serve on the Board of the GSBA and he's thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the organization and community that has given him so much


Calvin W. Goings serves as the Regional Administrator leading U.S. Small Business Administration's efforts in the Pacific Northwest states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. Prior to joining the Obama Administration, Goings served in key executive positions with the Washington Credit Union League. Working as Senior Advisor to the President, and as the Executive Director of the League’s Foundation.
Before his work in the private sector, Goings served in elected office for nearly two decades in local government and as a Washington State Senator (he was the youngest member to ever serve in the Washington State Legislature) representing Puyallup.

Goings has been involved over the years with numerous community and volunteer organizations, including the local Chamber of Commerce, Urban League, Boys and Girls Club, Special Olympics, and the American Heart Association.
Calvin is the proud father of his eight-year-old son William, and lives in the Seattle area.
