She's always been our lady of influence, and it's great to see others recognize her accomplishments!
The Puget Sound Business Journal has named GSBA's executive director Louise Chernin as one of its illustrious 2007 Women of Influence honorees.
Now in its fourth year, the award program shines the spotlight on local businesswomen, community leaders and philanthropists who are a force in the Seattle community.
A panel of distinguished judges reviewed a large slate of nominations to select these 20 top leaders. Each honoree is described as a woman who possesses the authority and power to "move the needle" in business and industry, while working for the good of her institution or organization, the community and mentoring other women to become leaders.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel downtown Seattle on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m.
