Announcing Graduate-Level Scholarships

Our GSBA Scholars are a diverse group of individuals. They attend trade schools, earn their associate’s degrees and graduate with their bachelor’s degrees. Some continue on to law school or business school, and some go on to earn a PhD. We are proud of each and every one of our scholars.  We believe their contributions in the classroom, community, and beyond make them exemplary leaders. Over the years, we have received increasing requests from our scholars for financial support for advanced degrees. With more and more students refining their skills at the post-baccalaureate level, we knew we needed to take the next logical step.

In order to strengthen our commitment to leaders, and continue to meet our mission of investing in the next generation of leaders, the GSBA Scholarship Fund will expand our scholarship criteria to include support to students studying at the post-baccalaureate, graduate or professional levels.

We are excited to award our first graduate-level scholarship in 2013. In the inaugural year, we encourage any current or past GSBA Scholar to apply for a graduate-level scholarship. Priority will be given to students studying business, law, technology, science and medicine, social work and education. It is our hope that with adequate support from individual and corporate donors, we will be able to create a program that supports both former GSBA Scholars and non-GSBA scholars alike.

For more information on funding a graduate-level scholarship, please contact Jessica Wootten.  Jessica would also love to talk with you about getting more involved with the GSBA Scholarship Fund, including sitting on a volunteer interviewer committee.

As a reminder, scholarship applications are now online and must be submitted by January 31, 2013 at 5:30 PM.
