NEXT WEEK's Community Meetings and
Approve 74 Card Distribution
Washington United for
Marriage, the campaign to make sure the bill that Governor Gregoire signed
last month becomes law, is hitting the road.
|
|
Next week, Washington
United will start an 11-city tour around the state to celebrate the string of
victories so far, but also to hear directly from you. Meet the campaign team
face-to-face.
|
|
|
|
At each of these town
halls, the campaign staff will be giving updates -- about the steps taken to
make this historic achievement possible, and what needs to be done to defend
marriage equality in Washington. You'll also be able to hear directly from
the field team relating to voter outreach and volunteer opportunities that
will be essential to making sure we overcome our opponents who want to repeal
marriage equality in our state.
